Trying to find a balance
With all the ups and downs in my life, i’m trying to find a way to become financially stable right now. Between old bills and loans, i’m either breaking even every month or going under a little bit. I took a look at some online freelancing websites and it sort of sparked some interest. Do a job for someone in about an hour or 2 and make a few hundred bucks off it compared to working for a week at red lobster and at the most getting about $200. Last night i went to the bar after work with my friend and we started talking about doing it as a team on some projects. He majored in Graphic Design in college so he would be a lot of help to me seeing as how i’m decent with the design aspect but i’m pretty fluent in the programming languages. We plan to sort of branch out with it too. The main focus will be websites, however we will also design signs, business cards, fliers, etc.

Got lucky
Today i went up to the college because they sent me a letter saying i could take 12 credits which is full time, but in the system they only had it set to 10. Turns out the 12 was a typo. After about an hour of people running around trying to figure out what to do, they finally decided to give me the two extra credit hours so now i am official a full time student.
On the personal side of things, i’ve been making some new friends lately and one of which i’ve taken a good liking to her kid. I’ve been around a few friends with kids these past weeks (some of which i’m not exactly friends with anymore due to immature drama i don’t want to be around) and i have to say, i used to hate being around kids, but now they are growing on me… here are some videos and pics of them:

College… finally going back
I’m almost all set with CCC and i’ll be going back next semester which i’m actually excited about. I just want to get my life back on track after the minor setbacks i’ve had recently. After thinking about what i really want to do with my life i decided to also change my major from Computer Networking/Repair to Web Design/Programming which i think is a lot better of a choice.
As for BlokaBuzz.com i’ve been doing a lot of work on that lately, did a major redesign for the logo and some other appearance changes around the site. There is also some more clothing put up for sale.

Sucker for animals
For anyone who has been up to the house, you know we already have 5 dogs. On my way home yesterday i saw a dog on the side of the road and had to take him in. After visiting a few houses on the road and making some calls i found the owner. Turns out his name is “Furr” and he’s 16 years old.

Back to school
So I finally paid off the money I owed to the college which means next semester Im going back. For those that dont know, Ive been going for computer networking/repair and Im thinking about adding a minor in web design/programming. Considering the work I have been doing lately I think it would be one more good thing on my resume which really trying to build up right now. Maybe one day Ill experience some success in my life, but I have made the connection that college is definately required for that…

Time is short
I’ve been trying to post some new blog entries lately and do some more work on my sites, but my time has been somewhat tied up. These next couple days i should be able to do some updating… i hope.
Recently i finally got a prescription for my shoulder which is really helping and i’ve been getting sleep at night which is a nice change. I had forgotten what is felt like to not be in pain after living with it constantly for over a year now. Maybe now i’ll be able to get the energy to do some work haha.
For the most part lately i’ve been doing a lot of thinking about the future, what i want to do, and how i want to do it. My main goal is to finish college = Priority #1. Other than that i just want to start getting this freelancing “business” going doing web design/programming for people. This sort of leads me back to the whole college thing. My major is computer networking/repair and i’m thinking about making web design a minor when i go back. All i know i have learned on my own, 100% self taught.
I just want to say thank you to my parents especially for helping me out with getting my life straightened out and taking me back in for a while. Without them i would still be on my path to failure.
